The country's leading women players will once again set the rugby landscape alight in 2023 with the return of SKY Super Rugby Aupiki.

The Blues, Chiefs, Hurricanes & Matatū (a combined South Island team governed by the Crusaders & Highlanders) will play across five weekends in 2023.

Format:
4 teams: Blues, Chiefs Manawa, Hurricanes Poua and Matatū
6 regular season matches + 4 play-off matches
Season Length: 5 weeks
Total Matches: 10
Semi Finals: 19 March, Final + 3rd/4th play-off: 25 March.

The name Super Rugby Aupiki reflects the competition being a crucial stepping stone between Farah Palmer Cup and the Black Ferns, with Aupiki translating to mean 'the ascent to the upper most realm'.
