The Crusaders head into the 2020 Super Rugby season as three -time defending Champions and despite several established players heading overseas, the Crusaders of 2020 will again be one of the competition favourites.
The 2020 competition is the last in the current conference format, before changing to a full round robin in 2021. That means that 2020 is the last opportunity supporters will get to see home derbies against the other four New Zealand franchises. From 2021 onwards, there will only be two home matches against other New Zealand sides each year.
The Crusaders are taking the first home match of the season against the Waratahs to Trafalgar Park, Nelson, before the first game in Christchurch at Orangetheory Stadium against the Highlanders on Friday 21st February.
In addition to the derby fixtures against the Highlanders, Hurricanes, Blues and Chiefs, the non-derby matches in Christchurch will see the Crusaders play against the Reds, South African quarter-finalists the Stormers, and an enticing replay of the 2019 Super Rugby Final against the Jaguares.
In 2020 we have two hospitality offerings outlined below, both of which are hosted at Addington Events Centre, directly next to Orangetheory Stadium.
